College President
Since taking office in May 2019 as the College of Charleston’s 23rd president, Andrew T. Hsu has worked to secure the foundation from which the College is now poised to propel from into its next era with this comprehensive campaign. His leadership and vision has led to pivotal moves into engineering, unique partnerships and expansion into health sciences as well as progress on overall student recruitment, retention and success. So far in President Hsu’s tenure the impact the College makes has been amplified regionally, nationally and even internationally.

Since starting in February 2023, Frezza has worked diligently behind the scenes to create an engaged, coordinated, campus-wide approach to university development, alumni relations, stewardship and advancement services efforts. Altogether, he and his team’s efforts have helped to establish and grow a culture of engagement and philanthropy across our campus community, alumni networks and Charleston itself–preparing the College to make the most of this momentous moment in its history.
